El Government of Aragon, through the Department of the Economy, Finance and Employment, and the Chambers of Commerce Zaragoza, Huesca and Teruel have just signed a framework agreement for the promotion of the training, development and promotion for employment for this fiscal year 2011.
The Aragonese Employment Institute will also be present in this program, which will be in charge of the development, management of programs and support for small and medium-sized Aragonese companies. With these actions, what is sought is to give a accolade to any initiative for training and promotion of employment, as well as the fostering an entrepreneurial spirit through self-employment and job placement plans.
With regard to training for employment, actions will be developed to achieve the adaptation of human resources so that they can act within the field of small and medium-sized enterprises. The training is intended both for active workers to achieve the necessary job retraining, as well as for unemployed people to achieve sufficient knowledge to be able to join the workforce of companies.
Another important amount of actions will go to keep the fabric productive of SMEs in Aragon, with specific actions for the consolidation of sectors that the crisis has certainly left weakened, such as the footwear, automotive and textile sector. This program also aims to achieve the job placement of university students.
