Oppositions a la carte in the City Council of La Nucía

After holding competitions to fill 20 civil servant positions for the City Council of the Alicante town of La Nucía, it was observed that ehe PSOE spokesman, Vicent Santamaría, was able to guess the names of those who were going to get his place before the tests are held.

Santamaría went to a notary in Alicante before the tests were held, to record the name of the 20 people who would obtain his position. But the characteristic thing turned out to be the fact of hitting 19 of these places (95% correct) one month before the first test of the oppositions.

The summoned places corresponded to 4 as an administrative, 4 as an administrative assistant, 1 as a library assistant, 1 as a custodian of the nursery school, 1 as a director of said school, 1 as a physiotherapist, 1 as a warehouse officer, 3 as a brigade laborer, 1 as a psychologist, 1 for a culture technician, 1 for a sports technician and 1 for a diploma in computer science. All these places were disputed by 128 applicants.

The most striking thing was the fact of hitting the names of 3 of the 4 applicants who achieved the position of municipal administrative assistant days before, with 54 people applying for the position. And that was where Santamaría erred the only name of all these 20 places.

Of these positions, the only one that had a clear winner was the director of the Children's School of the municipality, for which there was only one applicant. Therefore, it was enough for him just to pass the test.
