Education, Culture and Sports scholarships for the new academic year 2017/2018

Since August 10, the call for applications has been published General Scholarships for Education, Culture and Sports for the next school year 2017/2018. These scholarships are aimed at students studying post-compulsory studies, whether they are university or not.

These types of scholarships are designed for students who are dedicated to:

  • First and second courses of Baccalaureate.

  • Professional Artistic Teachings.
  • Sports Teachings.
  • Higher Artistic Teachings.
  • Higher religious studies.
  • Higher military studies.
  • Language studies in Official Schools (the distance modality is included).
  • Access and preparation courses for access tests to Professional Training and specific training courses for access to Middle and Higher Level Training Cycles, taught in public and private concerted centers.
  • Basic Vocational Training.

Requirements that you must meet

If you study any of the aforementioned courses and want to apply for a scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be spanish: possess the nationality of a member state of the European Union.
  • Not possess at the time of applying for the scholarship a equal or higher level title to the studies for which the scholarship is requested.
  • Meet the rest of the academic and financial requirements that specifies the call.

Scholarships for university studies

For this academic year 2017/2018 these scholarships for university studies go to those who study:

  • University education adapted to the European Area of Higher Education leading to official Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
  • University teachings to achieve the Official titles of Bachelor, Engineer, Architect, Diplomate, Master, Technical Engineer and / or Technical Architect.
  • Preparation course for university access for those over 25 years of age taught by public universities.
  • Training supplements to access or obtain the Master's degree and complementary credits to obtain a Bachelor's degree or to continue official undergraduate studies.

Third cycle and PhD students are out of this call.

Requirements that you must meet

If you are a university student and your studies fall within the provisions of the previous section, you must meet the following requirements if you want to apply for a scholarship:

  • Not possess at the time of applying for the scholarship a degree equal to or higher than that of studies for which the scholarship is requested.
