The ECYL will have € 3,5 million in scholarships for the unemployed

El Castilla y León Public Employment Service (ECYL) will have 3,5 € million to grant scholarships to those unemployed workers who are doing some kind of Vocational Training for Employment course. The scholarships are of various types: transportation, maintenance, accommodation and conciliation.

With regard to training the Budget of the Employment Service of Castilla y León by 2011 it has amounted to 500.000 € and the budget for 2012 reaches € 2,5 million. Another of the games, the one referring to the Work Plans and National Occupational Training Centers € 380.000 will be spent on scholarships and during 2012 the amount to be invested will be € 220.000.

All the transportation aid are conditioned to the fact that the place where the training action takes place is in municipalities where urban public transport arrives and its amount is € 1 daily for each day of attendance to training action. When the displacement of the unemployed student is interurban, the scholarship will be € 10 cents for each kilometer.

ECYL also provides aid for the maintenance for those students who participate in training initiatives whose schedule is morning and afternoon. The scholarships will cover the actual expense that must be accredited by invoice and They may not have a cost of more than € 10 per school day. In case the locality where the training is given gave more than 100 kilometers of place of residence of the unemployed person, the maximum global aid will not exceed € 80 per day when the posting is for training or professional practices.
