Types of oppositions

We are not referring to the types of oppositions according to the groups (from A to E) that we will talk about on another occasion, but to the types of oppositions that we can find.

In this case, there are 3 types of oppositions:

- Oppositions. They are solely and exclusively by examination, without the curriculum vitae that we have neither experience nor work in a similar position (interim). In this case we are all the same, there is no distinction between those who have already worked and only the exam grade that is obtained counts.

- Competition - opposition: In this type of competition, the merits that we can contribute both from experience and from courses, publications,… The experience of an intern is more important than that of a person who has worked in the private sector and the oppositions in these cases tend to be more for interns than for other people. Anyway, there are exceptions, as in everything. It's about taking an exam and taking into account your professional merits.

- Contest. Here only the academic and professional merits that you can contribute are taken into account. There is no exam or test or anything, only the curriculum will be analyzed and this type of "opposition" is usually used to create job boards or when looking for a very specific profile within the Administration (so they would be internal competitions).
