Where to study Teaching at a distance?

Currently, thanks to the different distance universities that we have, we can study almost any career or degree that we want, including that of Magisterium.

Distance Universities that teach Teaching

As you may already know, Teaching is a career or general degree that can be divided between the different teaching departments that currently exist: Primary, Infant, Foreign Language, Physical Education, etc. However, not all of the Distance Universities that we are going to explain to you below are all these specialties. The most frequent, however, are those of Infant and Primary.

UNED

One of the Distance Universities that we go to the most when we want to study something in a way online is usually the UNED (National Distance Education University), given its prestige and experience. However, we have come across the surprise that this university has not yet implemented this discipline in its academic offer of degrees. The last report that we have found about this is that although they want to teach teaching classes, due to budget cuts they have not yet been able to carry it out. However, they do not give up their efforts and are still waiting to finally include Teaching in their studies. The first specialty to be implemented would be Early Childhood Education.

La Salle University Center

This private university center, known as La Salle, is a center attached to the UAM (Autonomous University of Madrid) and we have seen that it has both the Degree in Primary Education and the Degree in Early Childhood Education. In addition you also have the possibility of doing both degrees together, with the logical validation of common subjects between both specialties.

VIU (International University of Valencia)

It also has a Teaching specialty among its curricular offerings. It is about the Degree of Primary Education, which once finalized you could take advantage of one of the 5 mentions offering:

• Mention in Music Education.
• Mention in Foreign Language: English.
• Mention in ICT in Education.
• Mention in Religion and Catholic Morals and its pedagogy.
• Mention in Valencian Language.

This is quite interesting because it would expand the possibility of working as something else in addition to as a Primary teacher.

UNIR (International University of La Rioja)

And finally, we mention another university that has grown a lot in recent years, in terms of number of students: the LINK.

Among its wide academic offer we can find both degrees of Teaching: Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. One of the advantages of this university is that its classes are live and you can see them from anywhere that offers an internet connection.

If you finally decide on this last university, you should know that its starting date is June 2017.
