However, we cannot deny that it can be a frustrating process for some people. That is why I want to give you some advice so that can help you make learning a new language a good experience and that you also succeed.
1. Do it because you like it
Nobody learns anything if they do it out of obligation without really wanting to do it. The activities that you do because you like them seem to be done without effort and that is why they are more enjoyed. This also applies to learning new languages. The process of learning a new language becomes easier if you like to learn them or if you are at least interested in doing it.
2. Play like a child
Surely you have ever heard that children are like sponges that can learn languages with incredible ease and speed. This is true in a way thanks to its brain plasticity. As adults, we are not lucky enough to have this plasticity, but we can have that childhood motivation of wanting to learn more and more, something that can really help us to see learning a new language as a game, and enjoy it as such. Children are not afraid of the unknown and play, do the same too.
To learning a new language you have to approach it as if it were an interesting game for you. For example, write in different colors, make cards with words, use post-its around the house with words or expressions that are difficult for you, play pronunciation, sing songs in that language ... don't be afraid to express yourself in the new language! !
3. Spend a little time each day
Dedication and perseverance is the secret to achieving goals, also in learning a new language. Learning takes time and effort, whether you are learning a language on your own or want to commit to a somewhat more sophisticated study, you must commit to learning every day, even when you have mastered it.
If you only study it once in a while you can't make great progress. The best way is to do it every day and include great learning in your daily routine. This way you can create a routine so that the language of your brain begins to have a new knowledge. For example, to start you can dedicate 15 minutes each day (which would be seven and a half hours a month of dedication and a year about 90 hours of learning time without trying too hard).
Read write, listen and speak for 15 minutes every day either drinking your favorite coffee in the morning or 15 minutes before sleeping, It will help you increase your knowledge almost without you noticing. And if you do it for 30 minutes (15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the afternoon), you will be amazed at the good results you will achieve in a short time.
The important thing is to create a learning of the language, to be motivated and thus to be able to progress constantly. Repeating words every day will help you memorize better and learn more easily. If you do a little bit of your part and really feel motivated to learn a new language successfully, lack of time will no longer be an inconvenience for you, perseverance is the basis to achieve it!
