From now on you could spend more time studying

University

There is no doubt that, when we enroll in a course, we look closely at the amount of tiempo during which we will be studying. We do not have unlimited years, so it is convenient to know how many hours, days, weeks and months we will be involved in a student career. Before we were between three and five years, depending on what we choose. But now, the new law will force us to stay for longer, depending on where we sign up.

The Spanish Government will approve today (although there have already been complaints and criticism) the new Royal Decree, which will allow three-year degrees and master's degrees of between one and two years to be launched. It is a somewhat controversial measure, since it will completely modify student laws and, initially, will make a mess for the enrollees themselves. Stay tuned for changes.

When the reform is launched (if it is approved, of course), the universities themselves will be responsible for offering degrees of three, four or more years, in addition to master's degrees of between one and two years of duration. It is about modifying the time so that, according to Montserrat Gomendio, Secretary of States for Education, Universities and Vocational Training, studies are made more flexible, Europe converges and savings are encouraged.

In any case, in the event that the new Royal Decree is approved, we recommend that you contact the study center to obtain more information on the ways in which it will affect you. Do not rule out that the way we had to take this type of course may be upset a bit.
