What is the purpose of the forums or student community?

The forums or student communities They have been fashionable for many years although now they are more practical and also more used by students themselves, especially university degrees, bachelor's or master's degrees.

• General forum: is the one in which they are more general topics and tips. Here teachers usually present the foundations and methodology of the forum itself, as well as the rules of behavior within it. Students usually ask the most general questions in this type of forum, such as the date of an exam, the grades of a subject or the changes of schedule in a class.
• Learning forums: They are more numerous and there are usually as many as there are subjects ... Within these there are others subforums where we can find the subjects divided into the topics that correspond to the list of topics that we must prepare. Here the students find the most significant of each topic, as well as more specific clarifications from the teachers regarding the syllabus, doubts or notes from other classmates.

Mails and messaging

All 'moodle'well executed must also contain within it a Messenger Service. We will almost always find an address from e-mail own to which we will receive those emails referring to the subjects (from teachers or colleagues). As you receive them, you can also write them and send it by internal messaging, that is, to an email address of the same moodle or also to any other type of external mail.

What also usually exists, but not in all, is a chat room, where in a more direct and spontaneous way we can communicate with our career colleagues who are connected to moodle at the same time as we are (although really, with the large number of mobile applications that exist today for this purpose, this service is falling into disuse ).
