A help to learn to "read"

Today I want to bring you an example that you can do to know if you know how to read (and understand) what you read or if you only read but do not stop to think about what you are reading, thus losing the thread of what you have to study and, at the same time, without the knowledge remaining.

Here I present you a normal text, a text taken from the internet, from anywhere, where I have hidden two words that should be important for all opponents and that we all have to study. The point is that you find them reading the text (comprehensive reading) so that you can assess whether, in the first or second reading, you are able to differentiate what is important from what is not.

Luck.

«The legal-administrative text, as has been repeatedly pointed out in the bibliography, is characterized by the rigidity of its structure, an invariable scheme established in advance for each modality (contract, instance, sentence, etc.), and by that of its lexical, very conservative, full of technicalities and also fixed in advance through formulas and set phrases absent in many cases from the standard language. Consequently, the issuer of the legal-administrative text is largely forbidden creativity, expressiveness, subjectivity, constitution: he cannot use metaphors not previously fixed, nor improvise a new organization for his message, nor play personally with language; it constitutes a mere “notary” or “clerk”, often in the literal sense. Thus, for example, a sentence is a text drawn up by an issuer other than the one who issued it and the latter, for his part, dictates it on behalf of another (in our case, the king): here we have another characteristic of these texts is that a lot is delegated to them. The actual issuer of the text often seems to have the only claim to disappear from his writing.

From this perspective, the legal-administrative language is rather the negation of style, unlike political, advertising, literary, Spanish, etc. However, there is a series of characteristic grammatical and lexical features, responsible for the statism, impersonality and rigidity of the legal-administrative text, which are worth mentioning briefly, since they will later be related to the objectives that this type of text pursues. »

I give you some clues:

1.- They are words that should not be in the text (it is not worth looking at the original text).

2.- It is a law, one that all «Spaniards» have to know and study if we present ourselves to the oppositions or that we will have studied at school, institute or university.
