Betting on open formats

On the odd occasion it has been spoken of the different ways that we have at our disposal to save the notes. These types of documents are really important to be able to pass the exams, so it is clear that we have to keep them like gold in cloth. However, imagine that you save them on your computer. What would be the best way to do it?

The UK government has recently announced that it will elect, from now on, the ODF formats in order to save the files in digital format. Does this concern us in any way? Yes, because this means that open formats are better for storing our text documents.

As for the formats that exist, we can mention many of them. However, it is something that we must take into account, especially if later we want to run them on other devices, since there are some that will only be Compatible with certain extensions. If, for example, you want to write the document on a computer, and then read it on your smartphone, you could have problems if you use a proprietary format.

One of the things we have to point out is that, on many occasions, the files are shared with classmates. And in the event that they have programs that are not compatible, it will be impossible for them to open them. In this way, as soon as ODF formats become a standard, there will be no major problems in this regard.

Without a doubt, this is excellent news. Although we will still have to wait until the Spanish government decides to put the batteries in this regard. It's about time I did some kind of cultural, in the formats they accept.
