Freelancers and companies benefited with more than 21 thousand ICO credits that were granted to them throughout 2012 by the CaixaBank, according to a report revealed by the entity itself. Of this total of credits, the amount amounted to 944 million euros, which reaffirms the commitment to offer financing to self-employed small companies, it is also indicated that 88% of the loans have amounts below 500.000 euros, precisely because the groups that benefit the most are the self-employed and small companies.

Particular interest has allocated the entity in the line of ICO credits for entrepreneurs, where the management of 26% of the total market volume stands out, while the average amount in each operation has been established at 45.000 euros. It is also mentioned that the Caixa It has made an investment of 515 million euros in ICO credit lines that are focused on financing new assets, as well as facilitating access to international markets.

For its part, 429 million euros of these loans have been allocated to liquidity lines, however the implementation of new lines of credit has already been announced.
