Distractions could be a bonus

Students

Whenever children are distracted for whatever reason, we say that their learning is interrupted. However, that statement could be a bit inaccurate. At least, from the data that we have been able to know thanks to Brown University, where an investigation has been done and it has been found that distractions, in reality, are not bad as they seem.

The journal Psychological Science has published a document in which the results obtained. Apparently, a very important aspect would be that during learning the brain would be able to integrate the division of attention as a signal that, in turn, would allow a better recovery when there is a similar one. Putting it more simply, students could "get used to" these changes, without the changes being so striking.

If the students' attention is divided during the classes with the memory of a motor idea, it would be possible to carry it out as if there had been no distraction. It would be the brain itself that would get used to the recovery of skills. Something like a backup that would help the mind to, even if it was distracted, recover all knowledge.

It is a solution This has surprised people and others, especially since it was previously believed that distractions could be fatal to learning, making it difficult to adopt new ideas and study in general. It seems that we will no longer see distractions with the same eyes. What do you think?
