FP free tests

Currently, and for many years now, the titles of Senior Technician FP, can be achieved through free tests, without the need for the student to attend classes. This is well thought out especially for those people who for personal or work reasons cannot go between 6 and 7 hours a day to an institute or education center to receive such education.

That is why, from the official website of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Government of Spain, we are told which are the requirements that should be fulfilled by said person who wants to attend free FP tests. They would be the following:

  • Bachelor's degree, experimental baccalaureate, COU or Specialist Technician.
  • Higher Degree Technician Title.
  • Having passed the entrance exam to the Higher Level Training Cycle.
  • Have passed the university entrance test for those over 25 years of age.
  • Be in possession of a university degree.

Passing this test with a pass implies obtaining the title of Higher Level Technician corresponding to the chosen professional family.

The title of Technician in Higher Degree will allow access to:

  • Other Higher Level Training Cycles.
  • University studies.
  • Higher Grade Training Cycles in artistic education (passing the entrance exam).

The test to obtain the title of Higher Level Technician will be convened at least once a year. The evaluation will be carried out by professional modules, of the chosen training cycle, and the contents of the test will deal with the most significant aspects of the curriculum, which will be regulated by Royal Decree 1538/2006, of December 15.

As we understand on this page, this test will be the same for all students of the same autonomous community, and depending on the latter it will have a convocation period and there will even be a way to do it in a online and totally at a distance, thus perpetuating the purpose for which these free trials were born.
