Normally, when we are studying some kind of course, what we do is go a certain number of hours to class, period during which the teachers will teach us the necessary syllabus to pass the exams. However, there are some students who have a slightly different learning pace. Basically, what they do is not go to class and study the books in their own home.
The method is quite simple. They acquire the necessary textbooks, and study as much as they can on their own property. All they will have to do is study the contents and then go to the exams. The question is, is it a good study method?
You have to take into account several concepts. First of all, there are people who prefer to go to class because in the school period doubts can be answered and even learn more things than those that come in the books themselves. Of course, this is an equally valid option. In the opposite section we have people who need to study at home.
Sometimes studying at home is not just an option, but also a necessity. You are unable to attend class due to reasons work or because they do not have time, so it is necessary to study at home. Of course, it is still an equally valid option as the other, since it will allow us to obtain the knowledge we need for the exams.
If we had to decide between studying in class or studying at home, the truth is that the only thing we can recommend you is that you take into account the situation you are in, and select the one that suits you best.
