Today we celebrate the Day of the book, a literary festival that shows the value of books as social culture and heritage that is passed from generation to generation creating a common bond. Many students and workers, immersed in their day-to-day routine, have very little time to read and postpone their reading for the summer. There are ten good reasons to read more. Here I share my list:
1. Through a book, you will know yourself better and you will reach places that you had never imagined of your own soul.
2. A good book brings a special flavor to many moments of loneliness sweetly accompanied. For example, during the months of good weather, you can sit on a park bench while you are inspired by the verses of your favorite poet.
3. twenty minute read daily can offer very good benefits when they become a habit.
4. Through a book, you can let your friends know you better. That is to say, when you share with them some of your favorite books, your unconditional author and your reflections on that work that has marked your life, you are talking about yourself.
5. You can develop a critical spirit to differentiate good literature from that which is just a substitute. You will also have new arguments to defend your points of view and those ideas in which you believe.
6. Feel the magic of walking through the bookstore shelves consulting all the recent news and improvisingly choosing a gift for yourself.
7. There is an important reason to read more: it's never enough.
8. The plan to read a book is very economical since you can also take books on loan in the library or buy titles at a discount in second-hand bookstores.
9. Through reading, you may discover new personal talents. Many journalists discovered their vocation by being great book lovers.
10. Literature fills the world with beauty.
