The consistory, within the municipal measures to combat unemployment will hire 30 unemployed in various municipal services. This plan, under the name of "Direct Employment II" has a budget of € 679.454 that are contributed by the San Vicente de Raspeig City Council and SERVEF.
The unemployed hired will be able to work in different municipal areas for a period of six months which will result in a decrease in the number of unemployed in the municipality and a improvement of services with which the municipality improves the quality of life of its inhabitants.
The unemployed will be trained in a profession while They receive a salary and collaborate part of the time in the work of various areas of the town hallor. The training budget is 679.454 € of which 10.000 are contributed by the city council and the rest by the Valencian Employment and Training Service (SERVEF).
The 30 unemployed will be over 25 years of age and during the six months they will receive a salary from the council. The contract period may be extended for another 6 months. The unemployed hired will carry out gardening, painting, interior maintenance of buildings, social and health care in homes and institutions of general interest.
The unemployed will be trained both in theoretical classes and practical classes, developing the first in the Haygon mansion and they will make their practical activity in various public buildings such as educational centers, public parks and homes of beneficiaries of social and health assistance.
The beginning of the course has had the presence of teachers and students of the courses and was chaired by the Mayor of San Vicente de Raspeig, Luisa Pastor, who recalled that the consistory that she presides will allocate during 2012 approximately € 800.000 for active employment policies.
