Many months ago, people almost fought to study a opposition. It was a form of study that almost guaranteed a job, so it is normal that the only way of working for many people was this method. However, everything has changed with the economic crisis in Spain. Competitions have taken a back seat, with vocational training courses now being one of the most promising options.
All this has made us doubt about the future of the oppositions. Are they still the same as they were a few years ago? Make a guarantee, at least in part, that we will have a stable job? Unfortunately, and as we have already mentioned, everything has changed. Neither the competitive examinations are as promising as before, nor do they "almost" guarantee us a job.
Although let's study an opposition, we will have to make sure we get a good grade. And, even so, we will go to a job bank in which we will have to wait until we are selected ... if we are, since the positions available in the different calls are not usually many. The calls are not usually abundant. Maybe one is held every few years.
As you can see, the future of the competitive examinations has completely changed and, what was previously something certain, has become one more option that for some people is not even convenient. It will be better to see another type of Options or courses since, at least for the moment, the oppositions are a bit stagnant.
