What are INEM courses?

Currently, the INEM courses are known as SEPE courses and in short they are courses for the unemployed designed by the government of Spain. But then, we will tell you everything in more detail and we will tell you how you can do them.

If you are unemployed or currently working and want to take free courses in your province, this article may be of interest to you.

What are INEM courses or SEPE courses?

INEM courses or SEPE courses are free courses aimed at both unemployed and employed workers that are part of the training plans for employment subsidized by the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) and the Public Employment Services of the different Autonomous Communities.

Since 2003, the competences in active employment policies were transferred to the Autonomous Employment Services, which are currently in charge of managing the training courses for employment for the unemployed and workers, except in the provinces of Ceuta and Melilla.

In this way, current and unemployed workers have at their disposal different training plans for employment in order to provide their students with the knowledge and qualifications necessary to improve their work skills or facilitate their reintegration into work.

What courses are there in my area?

If you want to take any of these courses in your province, you only have to search the official pages from the employment services of your autonomous community or go personally to your employment office, where you can also receive guidance in the search for training.

Each of these courses have a requirements They have to be met to enjoy them, but they are generally intended primarily for the short- or long-term unemployed. Even so, read well and carefully the requirements that are requested in each of them, so you make sure that you can do them without any problem.

The courses you will find will be of all types:

  • Hospitality courses.
  • Languages.
  • Informatic and tecnology.
  • Professions and trades: health, transportation, construction, etc.
  • Business management.
  • Management skills.
  • coaching
  • Education.

And a long etcetera that you can discover if you are interested in it.

My personal recommendation: Whether you are working or not, but especially if you are unemployed, taking courses can help you not only to expand your Curriculum vitae if not to also get that job that you crave so much. There are no reasons not to expand our training if we are unemployed ... Seize the time!

The sepe website is a total disaster to consult the courses, and those of the regional employment services, save two or three.
