La University of Alicante has begun to give a training course so that teaching can be taught not only in Valencian but also in English and French, being the first university in the Valencian Community to provide this type of training for English and French.
The course we are referring to has 4 subjects with 6 credits each. The European and Valencian educational system will be studied in them; language planning; the integrated treatment of languages and contents; ICT in the classroom for the integrated treatment of languages and content; and Language.
El teacher training certificate It will enable you to teach in these languages at non-university educational levels as long as you have the academic and administrative qualifications to be able to teach at these levels. Other interesting skills are also acquired to be able to give training, such as the ones we have mentioned.
It should be noted that it will be a minimum requirement to teach a Valencian module in cycle I of Basic Adult Training. It is a requirement for teacher positions in primary, secondary and vocational training.
Giving these training courses for teachers is a great step on the part of the University of Alicante, the only one in Valencia that offers them, although it may not be the last. It is good to prepare teachers to acquire more knowledge, training and adapt to new times, and therefore it is a course that many will sign up for.
