We talk again about the siesta, a powerful ally that will help us study

Siesta

One of the most popular things we have in Spain, apart from the already typical, is the nap. This activity is based on getting a little sleep after eating. It would be like taking a break between working hours that allows us to regain strength in order to be able to work better. And one of the most curious things that revolve around it is the fact that it is practiced, especially during the summer.

However, we are not here to define exactly what the siesta is, but to comment on the benefits that it can bring to our body and our student career. Imagine that you are studying all morning, in class. Learning new things that, obviously, will tire us more and more. When you get home at noon, we are sure you will want to get some rest. And one of the best things you can do after eating is take a nap.

Taking a nap is sleeping, but less time than usual. If we normally sleep between 7 and 9 hours, in a nap we will have the opportunity to sleep around 30 minutes. At least, that is what the specialists advise so that our body can rest. They even warn that if the nap is longer, we could wake up more tired.

In our opinion, we recommend that you take a nap whenever you can. If you look at the most famous personalities, you will discover that they sometimes held micro-parties thanks to which regained strength. In this way, they generally slept less and worked more.
