Young Spaniards occupy the VET positions offered by Germany

The Spanish youth They are among those who most join the VET jobs and positions that Germany offers to Europe. Of the 10 countries that have joined this program, Spain is the country that has contributed the most youth.

The program is called The Job of very life, and is part of the agreement signed between Madrid and Berlin to facilitate the transfer of young Spanish people to Germany for unemployed youth. Since then, hundreds of Spaniards (about 800) occupy more than half of these positions that the country has offered for the first time to unemployed young people in the Eurozone (specifically countries in crisis).

The squares are FP Dual and with jobs for skilled workers. There are over 1200 jobs for professionals and 400 for VET courses. About 30% of professional positions are held by Spaniards, and the vast majority of those in FP as well.

It must be taken into account that in Spain there is a great lack of professionals and therefore they have to turn to outside to fill the available vacancies. On the other hand, there are countries like Spain where professionals do not find jobs that are suitable for their training, knowledge or expectations. Especially computer scientists and engineers are sought, although there are many more positions where Spaniards are welcomed.

It is estimated that the German state will dedicate more than 10.000 euros each year to each foreign student, since this includes: accommodation, meals, transport and language improvement courses as main expenses. Given the lack of jobs in the country, more and more young people are considering this possibility.
